Coastal Events was founded in 2014, is owned and operated by Kari Braca & Marci Bowen. Kari and Marci are both medical professionals who needed a little more joy in their lives. So began, Coastal Events, LLC. Their attention to detail and diligent work make planning your wedding a masterpiece, and ensures the only hitch that occurs on that special day is between the bride and groom! Their love for people and romance are vital to the foundation of Coastal Events, LLC. Their teamwork and personalities complement each other in a way that makes sure every detail of your wedding has been thought of and planned.

Kari is the type of event planner that every bride hopes for; savvy, super-organized, on time, easy to get in touch with, gracious and positive. She specializes in full service wedding design, and her pep talks usher you through the planning process from “yes” until “I do.” Her sense of style and timeless beauty add a unique touch to planning your perfect wedding. After planning her own wedding, as well as helping plan friend's weddings, she decided to take the leap, join forces with Marci, open Coastal Events, LLC, and has not looked back!

Marci has a keen eye for detail that is evident by her love and passion for photography. She has owned and operated her own business in construction and currently works as a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner, where her attention to detail is paramount. Marci's take charge attitude is the perfect element to have on the big day; her organization, ability to predict a need before it arises, and calming presence make things run smoothly while the "I dos" are spoken. Marci's experience planning children's birthday parties, baby and bridal showers, and  weddings (including Kari's) made it  only natural for her to link up with Kari and start Coastal Events, LLC.
